Using MIST in CUDA

We at PickCells work with an open-source tool called Microscopy Image Stitching Tool, which is a tool created to solve problems of Whole slide images (WSI), which within our platform is responsible for generating a giant image from other smaller images (which are just taken in our microscope, also called a device by the interns), the whole process works perfectly and is already integrated, only we need GPU processing (CUDA) that would improve the performance which is what we need for now.
We talked to the tool's developers, through an issue on github, and we discovered that the reason they had disabled the CUDA processing mode was precisely because the architectures of the GPUs had been changed (after all, the tool has been available for a long time). The pros is that they offered to make the necessary tweaks to the MIST for GPU usage if we were able to resolve the issues in the CUDA files.
