Unreal and C++ for vehicle simulation using AirSim and Cesium

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

The objectives of the work are to

1. simulate the motion of objects (e.g., ground vehicles, ships, aircraft) within Unreal and their visualize interaction with the surrounding environment (e.g., ground, air, maritime) within AirSim (for vehicle motion) and Cesium (for background and mapping)

2. control (e.g., update current state) objects in AirSim from an external program and get output from AirSim sensors into the external program using RPC or other protocols

3. create custom Unreal objects (e.g., vehicle) for integration into this Unreal/AirSim/Cesium framework

The ideal freelancer should
1. be an expert C++ programmer who can work with network protocols and Unreal plug-ins

2. be an expert Unreal developer (not necessarily an Unreal graphics creator)

3. be familiar with AirSim and its simulation of objects and sensors

4. preferably have an engineering background to understand object kinematics and sensor simulation
