Trend Following Trading Algo Development

I'm seeking an experienced programmer with a strong background in algorithmic trading, particularly in trend following strategies. The focus will be on futures and/or stocks.

**also I have trading blox software, and a 1 year subscription to futures data that i have been downloading daily for the past 10 months. also interested in shorting stocks from time to time, like Tesla.

Key Requirements:
- Develop a trend-following trading algorithm
- Implement backtesting capabilities to evaluate the strategy's effectiveness using historical data
- Incorporate automated order execution for seamless trading

Ideal skills for this job include proficiency in programming languages like Python or C++, experience with trading platforms and software, and a solid understanding of the futures and stock markets. Previous experience in developing and implementing trading algorithms is highly desirable.

To automate trades within TradingView, you'll use Pine Script, TradingView's proprietary scripting language, to create custom indicators, alerts, and strategies.
