ns-3 Simulation of a MANET with Custom Routing Protocol
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled C++ developer with experience in ns-3 simulations to implement a Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET or mobile IoT) using a proactive custom routing protocol. The project involves comparing this custom protocol with two baseline protocols, OLSR and DSDV.
Key aspects of the project include:
- Implementing a dynamic mobility model, such as the Random Waypoint model
- Conducting comprehensive tests with multiple parameters to assess the effectiveness of the custom protocol
- Evaluating key network performance metrics: Throughput, End-to-End Delay, and Packet Delivery Ratio etc
Ideal skills for the job:
- Proficient in C++ and familiar with ns-3
- Experience with MANET or IoT and routing protocols
- Understanding of network performance metrics
- Capable of implementing mobility models in simulations
The ultimate goal is to thoroughly evaluate the custom routing protocol in comparison to OLSR and DSDV and other. Please reach out if you have the necessary skills and experience for this project.
