"Serial Recall Task Software Development (OpenSesame or PsychoPy"
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in need of a developer experienced in OpenSesame or PsychoPy to help craft a Serial Recall Task experiment (SRT). This should include the integration of audio files within the experiment setup. Not having a preference between OpenSesame or PsychoPy, I'd welcome your expertise in choosing the most optimal software.
Key specifications include:
- Compatibility: The software should be compatible with the Windows operating system.
- User Interaction: The task will require high user interaction, thus the software should be developed to accommodate frequent user input.
- The experiment will need to be able to cycle between different "modes" including the "task mode" with various sounds playing, and "break mode" which includes a 2-minute break screen in between tasks.
- There will be 4 serial recall tasks (each 6 minutes) with 2-minute breaks in between. And each task needs to have a sound playing in the background.
- The specific sounds should be in ramdomised order.
- There are a few other requirements for this project, which we can discuss in a call.
Your background in psychology software development and specifically in the realm of OpenSesame or PsychoPy will be very advantageous for this project. Excellent skills in user interface crafting will also be appreciated as user involvement is crucial in this experiment.
