Program Description
We are looking for a background application to read data from a computer game, Flight Simulator, using FSUIPC (complete documentation available).
FSUIPC reads and injects data from Flight Simulator. Developers use it for these purposes. The required application will only need to read this data and continuously output it to a .ini file. Values required as a minimum to be read are Air Speed, Altitude, GPS Latitude/Longitude, Landing Gear, Landing Rate, Fuel Total Quantity, Aircraft Total Weight, Ground Speed, Nearest Airport, Clock Hour, Clock Minute, Zulu Hour, Zulu Minute and Plane On Ground. It should also be able to detect when it's connected to FSUIPC.
The application will run in the background with an icon in the system tray that will change colour depending on the connection status. Users should be able to right-click the icon to close the application or see version information.
Additionally, we are looking for a long-term support agreement, including bug fixing and future development, such as adding more values.
Desired but not essential
1. Familiar with either Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), Prepar3D (P3D), X-Plane (XP) or Fight Simulator X (FSX).
2. Familiar with FSUIPC.
