Oracle and C++ Developer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
1. C++: We have an older pricing engine that is built in c++ and runs as compiled code. We're looking for someone that can go into the code and learn how it works.
2. Ability to re-install the c++ code and run this in a dev and debug environment.
3. Ability to make changes to the code and have new production ready versions running.
4. Ability to understand the code and be able to assist in any bug tracing. We have very very little bugs with this code, most issues are with the interfaces that talk to the code.
5. Oracle: the database platform as part of the system. We have a good deal of stored procedures that run in Oracle against the DB
6. When we make changes it's usually within the SP's that work with the compiled C++ code.
7. We're looking for someone that has experience working within Oracle SP's.
8. We'll be debugging SP's, updating them for changes, and even creating new ones.
9. Goal: The overall goal is to add new and experienced members to our team that can learn the system and become subject matter experts.
10. Excellent English communication is a MUST.
11. This person has to be from Bangalore / Ahmedabad / Jodhpur location but should have some overlap to US-based hours for team collaboration
