Need help with a simple C++ task

I am testing an application for college and need help to get it to run and work well in windows 10 which involves Microsoft Detours Express.

I have 2 sources, you can try and see whatever one works best for you:

The program should speed up Windows 10. You must have knowledge about injecting into target process too.
