HTML Desktop Background app to run Apps & Games (add function to existing source code developed with c + + visual studio 2008)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have an existing small windows software which is autorun when the windows PC starts up and it is used instead of the start menu to start windows apps and games.
We need someone to update the software source code to do an additional function, which is to run applications.
Before we did not need this function because we used an app called runProtocolHandler.msi which would enable launching the application by adding to the HTML "href="run:c:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
But runProtocolHandler.msi no longer works on Windows 10 IE. it will not launch the app.

Once you accept the job, I will give you remote anydesk access to a PC running the app and windows 10 so you can get it working on that PC.
1. I need this done in 1-2 days maximum
2. I don't like working with companies. I like working with Dev direct.
3. If someone knows what they are doing this is a 4-8 hour job maximum.
