HTML App to Windows EXE
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I have a fully-functional single-page HTML program that already handles data entry, generates tables, and exports to XLSX. Everything works, but I’m ready to ship it to non-technical colleagues as a native Windows executable.
What I need from you
• Package the existing HTML (CSS, JS) into a standalone .exe that runs on Windows without a browser.
• Ensure the current “Export to XLSX” routine keeps my cell colours—right now the file saves only in black-and-white.
• Make sure the built-in print routine also outputs in colour.
• Add one small UI tweak: a “Clear Table Data” button that wipes the table clean with a single click.
Tech notes
I’m flexible on the tooling—whether you choose Electron.js, C# (WebView2, CefSharp, etc.), or Python (PyInstaller + webview) doesn’t matter to me as long as the deliverable is a reliable .exe that meets the colour export/print requirements.
Deliverables
1. Compiled Windows executable.
2. Updated source with the new Clear button and colour-correct export/print logic.
3. Brief read-me outlining the build steps so I can reproduce future versions.
If you’ve handled HTML-to-desktop conversions and Excel styling before, let’s discuss timelines and a fair fixed price.
