C++ Graph Database Development

Job ID: 37902802

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

I'm looking for a proficient C++ programmer to develop a graph database that reads its schema from a template and store data in columns. The project aims to create a graph database with a schema-driven approach, where the database reads its schema from a template. It stores data in a columnar format, with vertices and edges having identifiers and properties according to the schema. There will be an API provided, which includes functions for adding vertices and edges with default or custom properties, retrieving vertices and edges, and manipulating their properties through iterators. Here's what you will need to do:

- Make it compatible with the Windows Operating System.

- Design it in a way that it can store vertices and edges. More details will be provided later on.

- Prepare the database to potentially support concurrent read and write operations, though I haven't made a decision on this matter yet.

Ideal skills for this project would include a strong C++ programming background and experience working on graph databases. An understanding of concurrent operations will be a plus. I'm open to any queries to provide a more specific framework of the project upon request. I will give the full project specification upon getting a response. The project is non-trivial.
