GUI for Trading Execution on Interactive Brokers
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello, There is this project on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYjT8-GvOxU which I would like built. It is a C# GUI for trading/execution over the Interactive Brokers API. I do not care if it's in C#. I have a preference for C++ or Python, with which I am more familiar, but C# would be acceptable. It does not have to be exactly the same GUI. If you have better ideas, that's great. And you can disregard the "Scan" stuff. Don't need that. This is the minimum scope of the project.
Eventually, I will need (A) futures and FX, as opposed to stocks, and (B) to implement and monitor much more complex order types (see *** below). Whether you want to complete only the minimum scope (as described in the first paragraph) or also complete (A) and (B) in this project is up to you.
(***) By complex orders, I mean something along the lines of: Buy quantity Q at a price of P, if filled, then work a stop order to sell quantity Q at price P-L OCO (1) take profit on Q/3 at P+W1 (if filled wholly or partially, reduce quantity of stop order by same amount) and (2) take profit on Q/3 at P+W2 (if filled wholly or partially, reduce quantity of stop order by same amount). If price rises to P+T, move stop price trigger up to P+T (while preserving the OCO take profit orders, if not yet filled). If price rises to P+T2, change stop order to be a trailing stop of T points of price on whatever remaining long position still outstanding. Think of it as like a Bracket Order (https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/orders/bracket.php) but with more dynamic adjustments, utilizing Adjustable Stop Orders (https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=574 and https://ibkr.info/video/1293)
