Fingerprint-Override Custom Chromium Browser Build
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Custom Chromium Build for Browser Fingerprint Testing
We need a modified Chromium browser that can override fingerprint properties (hardware concurrency, GPU strings, audio context, etc.) using command-line flags. Our goal is to replicate many attributes from a sample JSON of fingerprints, then test how our secure web app reacts to these various “profiles.”
Scope of Work:
Build Environment: Help us set up depot_tools, GN/Ninja, and all needed dependencies on our system.
Custom Patches: Add or modify Chromium’s source so we can launch with flags like --override-hwconcurrency=12 and more.
Knowledge Transfer: Conduct 3–4 live sessions to show how to build, use, and maintain this custom Chromium.
Testing/Verification: Assist in checking that the overridden properties match our JSON fingerprints during real-world tests.
Ideal Candidate:
Has experience compiling and patching Chromium.
Understands fingerprinting APIs (WebGL, WebRTC, Audio, etc.).
Communicates clearly and can teach us the build process.
If you can deliver a maintainable custom Chromium that closely imitates our JSON fingerprints via launch flags, we’d love to hear from you!
