External simulation of Fixed wing aircraft.
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
What we are looking for, specifically, is a "program" that can be "easily" modified (weight/mass/COG/wingspan, wing chord/stabilizer width/chord, etc). This will allow for the simulation (MSFS, XPlane, P3D etc) to operate said aircraft in the manner that it should "fly" in real life.
The parameters for this would be perf charts from manuals along with the requisite data.
The system will need to extrapolate and "enhance" certain behaviours given the type of aircraft.
This system must be fully fledged, allow for control of, and basic failures of all aerodynamic surfaces including, but not limited to, flaps, ailerons, spoilers, slats, airbrakes etc, as well as landing gear, gear doors, and all other surfaces. Inclusion of swing wing capabilities as well as FBW systems are a must.
As this is for a full on, modular system, expect remuneration to reflect this. However, the person(s) hired for this must, repeat MUST, have prior experience in both aerodynamics and programming.
C++ is the code that must be used.
