Extend Quantum Simulation Framework

Job ID: 40107801

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I am working on a quantum-mechanical model—nothing exotic like quantum computing or quantum optics, just a specialised extension of ordinary non-relativistic quantum mechanics. My current numerical simulation runs, but it is limited to a narrow parameter window. I now need a theoretical physicist who can look under the hood, understand the formalism I’m using, and push the code to cover new regimes.

The core goals are to:
• Analyse the existing equations and numerical scheme so you see exactly how the present results are produced.
• Propose and implement the mathematical and computational tweaks needed to handle the additional features I have in mind (I’ll walk you through the specifics once we connect).
• Provide concise documentation and a short technical note explaining the extended model so future adjustments remain straightforward.

The codebase is mostly JavaScript and a lightweight C++ module for speed. If you prefer MATLAB or Julia, I’m open—just make sure the final deliverable reproduces the current results before extending them.

I’ll share the repository, reference papers and a small test suite after an NDA. From there we can agree on milestones, validate the extended simulation against known limits, and iterate until the new parameter space is stable.
