I’m looking for an experienced C++ developer to help analyze and improve compatibility between an older Windows client and a newer system version.
Scope of work:
- Analyze behavior differences between two versions of a native Windows application
- Identify key areas affecting initialization and communication
- Trace and document relevant functions and execution flow
- Align behavior between versions at a low level
- Implement adjustments to improve compatibility and stability
Requirements:
- Strong experience with C/C++
- Experience working with low-level systems or native applications
- Understanding of memory structures and debugging tools
- Ability to analyze compiled applications
Nice to have:
- Experience with debugging tools (IDA, Ghidra, x64dbg, etc.)
- Experience working with legacy systems
