C++/Qt Desktop Application Developer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are seeking a skilled C++ developer to create a desktop application using the latest Qt 6.9.0 framework. The goal of this project is to develop a fully functional shop browsing experience where users can explore a list of shops and view the items available for sale in each one.
The application should present shops using a QListWidget. When a user selects a shop, the corresponding items for sale should be displayed in a QTableWidget. Each item cell within the table must be custom-designed to include two icon images along with multiple lines of text, all carefully aligned, formatted, and scaled appropriately. Selecting a cell should visually highlight it by changing the background color and border to clearly indicate selection.
Additionally, selecting an item should trigger a detailed view to appear in a separate side dialog. This dialog must display a larger image of the item, its full description, a quantity selector using a combobox, and a "Buy" button to complete the interaction.
The project must be developed entirely in C++ without the use of QML or Qt Designer (.ui files). The code should be clean, efficient, and free of memory leaks. A Visual Studio project setup is preferred for easier integration into our workflow. For better understanding of the required visual layout and behavior, a reference image can be provided privately upon request.
Candidates with prior experience customizing Qt widgets and creating polished user interfaces are highly encouraged to apply.
