Debug "Not enough funds" issue in Slimcoin code.

We are facing the following issue:
Sometimes it happens that the user is not able to send his funds using qt-wallet even if he sees them available, receiving "Not enough funds message".
It can be that the issue happens when the user synchronize his qt-wallet using one wallet.dat file and then reopens it with another wallet.dat, as if the synchronization of the qt-wallet was keeping track only of the transactions of the underlying wallet.dat of that moment.
The above is only the hypothesis, we don't really have a clue about why the issue happens.
Since Slimcoin code is based on the very old PPC code it might be that the issue was already present in the PPC code in the moment it was forked by the Slimcoin original developer and was solved later on.
The above is also only an assumption.
If you think you'd be able to solve the described issue, please show us your github and let us understand that you are really able to understand the issue and to solve it.
