Custom Windows Poker Solver Development
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
We are seeking a skilled software developer with a strong background in computer science and algorithm research/ design to create a Custom Poker Solver, inspired by another public poker solvers as Rocket Solver and Holdem Resources Calculator. This application should integrate cutting-edge algorithms for poker scenario analysis, leveraging the latest advancements in computational efficiency and Game Theory.
I need to build functions that these public tools above do not support yet, such as different new type games for NHL ( squid game) and support for PLO( Pot Limit Omaha, later)
Important Note:
To achieve the best results, the developer must familiarize themselves with academic papers relevant to Game Theory, some pokersolve, and computational optimizations. A deep understanding of these materials will ensure the implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms and approaches.
I don’t need a fancy UIs or cross-platform support.
Core Features:
1. GTO Strategy Generation:
• Develop optimal strategies for multiple poker situations, from heads-up to multiplayer.
• Incorporate clustering and abstraction techniques to simplify complex scenarios without losing accuracy.
2. Algorithm Integration:
• Study and implement the latest techniques from research papers on poker solvers, GTO algorithms, and optimization methods.
3. Scenario Import/Export:
• Support importing scenarios in formats like .csv or .json and exporting results in a user-friendly manner.
4. Resource Optimization:
5. Scalability and Extensibility:
• Design the solver to accommodate future enhancements, such as support for new poker variants or advanced simulations.
Required Qualifications:
1. Technical Expertise:
•Low-level programming is preferred(C, C++, Rust, Zig or similar)
2. Academic Research Capability:
• Ability to read, understand, and implement algorithms described in academic papers related to Game Theory and poker solvers.
3. Domain Knowledge (Preferred):
• Familiarity with Rocket Solver or similar tools.
• Understanding of poker concepts, including GTO, ICM, and equity analysis .
4. Communication:
• Open to collaborating with domain experts or other developers who can provide insights into Rocket Solver’s architecture.
