Cross-Platform Branded Browser Fork
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
=> PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced developer to build a branded desktop browser (Windows & macOS) based on Ungoogled Chromium or Firefox ESR, for private/professional use.
The browser will be white-labeled with my own logo and name, and will include pre-configured settings that the end user cannot change.
=> WHAT WE NEED
1. REBRANDING
• Custom logo, browser name, splash screen
• Remove all Google/Mozilla telemetry & default services
• Windows installer (.exe / NSIS or Inno Setup) + macOS .dmg
2. AD BLOCKING (preloaded)
• Pre-installed uBlock Origin (or equivalent) with a custom filter list
• Blocklist targeting specific hostnames (I will provide the list)
• The end user CANNOT disable the blocking
3. MANAGED BOOKMARKS MENU
• Fixed side or top menu with bookmarks organized in categories:
– Media Tools (StreamIT, Protube, Music, Radio)
– Private Browser / Search Tools
– Proxy Resale
– Business / Professional Tools
• Bookmarks locked via policy (user cannot edit or delete)
4. CUSTOM NEW TAB PAGE
• Branded page instead of default new tab
• Displays the above menu as a visual dashboard with icons
5. ENTERPRISE POLICIES
• Disable or whitelist Chrome Web Store / Add-ons store
• Pre-set privacy settings (no tracking, no sync)
• Proxy configuration support

• Base: Ungoogled Chromium (preferred) or Firefox ESR
• Languages: C++/Python for build scripts, HTML/CSS/JS for New Tab page
• Platforms: Windows 10/11 (x64) + macOS 12+ (Intel & Apple Silicon)
• Delivery: Source code + build pipeline (GitHub or similar) + compiled installers
• Documentation: Instructions for future updates to the filter list and bookmarks
