Coordination of the mission start for a drone swarm using ROS in the ZIM project "Drones in Disaster Protection
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
ROS 2, Gazebo and PX4 (only SITL [4])
- Develop a concept of how the drones can be integrated into the operational sequence, taking into account all potential hazards
- Implementation of the concept as a ROS 2 node
- Integration of the node in the PX4 environment using a MicroRTPS bridge
- Presentation of the initial situation in Gazebo
- Integration of an additional drone into the simulation that comes back from fire fighting and must be included by the developed module
- Testing the concept in the simulation
- Description of the test environment, documentation of use, documentation of the code
