CAD Engine upgrades and ongoing development
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
We have our own unique CAD engine, originally written several decades ago in C++. It has been updated continuously since then and has been adapted to work within QT for Windows and Mac.
We require a near full-time programmer with an experienced understanding of CAD in general.
Rather than a single project, we are looking to canvas applicants that are wanting to devote nearly 100% of their time to this product and its plug-ins.
This product is a competitor to AutoCAD (and other similar variants) with two or three vertical applications which also need to maintained and developed.
Applicants should be prepared to work alone and have a reasonable amount of autonomy once each part of the project has been defined. Work includes debugging of existing code, integration of file translators, feature enhancements (ongoing) application development for market verticals. CAD is a complex area and not for the feint hearted. Those looking for deep fulfillment only should apply.
