Job Title: AoIP Network & Control Systems Developer (AES67 / AES70)
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Developer experienced in AES67 (Audio-over-IP streaming) and AES70 (device control protocols). You will work with our engineering team on a contract basis to develop, integrate, and optimize real-time audio transport and device control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement real-time AES67-compliant audio streaming solutions.
Integrate AES70 (OCA) protocols for device control and monitoring.
Ensure seamless interoperability with existing AoIP environments (Dante, Ravenna, Q-LAN, Livewire+).
Set up and manage PTP clock synchronization (IEEE1588) and multicast network configurations.
Develop control APIs (REST, WebSockets) or interfaces for device configuration and monitoring.
Provide remote troubleshooting, support, and optimization of audio networks.
Deliver clean, well-documented, and maintainable code within deadlines.
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of AES67 & AES70 standards.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar languages.
Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, multicast, QoS, VLAN, IGMP).
Familiarity with real-time audio systems and DSP chains.
Experience working with Dante, Ravenna, Q-LAN, or similar AoIP environments.
Prior experience with OCA (Open Control Architecture) protocol stack.
Ability to work independently, deliver on schedule, and communicate effectively.
Experience with embedded systems or Linux environments is a plus.
