Algorithm (BFS) Help (preferably C++, but not required) >read description before offering job<

I am a student and need help understanding an algorithm, note that since I am a student I do not have much money therefore this job will be a fixed price of what I can afford.
The MAX amount I can afford is £30 GBP, so please do not offer a job for more than this, I will know you have not read the description of this project.
You will need to be able to speak English FLUENTLY so please do not apply for this job if you do not speak English fluently.
I am needing help with understanding BFS (Breadth-first search) algorithm, I am coding in C++ but you do not need to know C++ to help me. Although it would be beneficial if you also knew C++.
I have a firm understanding of how it works except there are just a few "things" I need help understanding that is stopping me from fully understanding how this algorithm properly works.
