WHM Apache Crash Troubleshooting

My cPanel/WHM box has begun crashing at unpredictable moments. It runs fine for hours, then—without any scheduled backups, updates, or config edits—the Apache service suddenly drops. Each time I check the logs I see a sharp spike in CPU / RAM use right before the failure, but I have not pinned down the root cause.

Here is what I need from you:

• Diagnose the crash pattern quickly by digging through Apache, cPanel, and system logs.
• Optimise and fine-tune the current Apache/WHM configuration (MPM settings, KeepAlive, limits, etc.) so the server can absorb traffic bursts without tipping over.
• Apply any kernel, EasyApache, or module tweaks that will stabilise resource usage.
• Provide a concise report explaining the cause, the steps you took, and the final configuration changes so I can replicate them on my staging server.

Acceptance criteria: the web server must run a full 72-hour test window under simulated load with no unexpected restarts, and average response time must improve over the current baseline.
