SiteGround to GoDaddy Hosting Transfer
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m ready to leave SiteGround and host my website on GoDaddy instead. Both hosting plans are active; I simply need the entire site (files, MySQL database, media, plugins, themes, and SSL) copied over and brought online at GoDaddy with zero content loss and minimal downtime.
I’m not certain whether the DNS will need tweaks—if an A-record, CNAME, or nameserver change is necessary, please walk me through it and carry it out once I approve.
You’re free to use whichever method you prefer—cPanel backup-restore, SFTP, phpMyAdmin export/import, or a migration plugin—so long as the blog loads correctly on the new server, links and permalinks work, and the SSL certificate is valid.
Deliverable: the blog running smoothly on GoDaddy plus a brief note outlining what was changed (DNS steps, paths, or config edits) so I can reference it later.
