Restore WordPress Site on cPanel
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I have a complete backup of my WordPress site—database dump, wp-content, core files, everything—zipped and ready to go. The new host uses cPanel, and I’d like the site fully restored there so it looks and functions exactly as it did on the previous server.
What I need you to handle:
• Upload the full backup through cPanel (File Manager or SFTP).
• Create a new MySQL database, user, and correct privileges, then import the SQL file.
• Update wp-config.php with the new database credentials.
• Point or update DNS if necessary so the domain resolves to the restored site.
• Run a quick check for broken links, missing media, or plugin issues after migration.
Everything should end with the site loading fast and error-free on the new hosting account. If you’ve completed similar cPanel restorations before and can start right away, please let me know your estimated turnaround time.
