Restore WordPress Site Backup
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I have a full WordPress backup—files and database packed in a single archive—that needs to be restored on my hosting account and pointed to an existing domain. You’ll receive full cPanel access (File Manager, phpMyAdmin, etc.) along with the backup file and any required credentials.
Here’s what I expect:
• Upload and extract the archive on the server.
• Recreate or import the database, update wp-config.php, and handle any path or domain adjustments.
• Verify that the site loads on the chosen domain, permalinks work, and all plugins/themes behave exactly as they did in the original installation.
Acceptance criteria: the website is fully operational at the specified domain, the WordPress admin area is accessible, and there are no visible errors or missing assets. A short summary of actions taken and any new login details you set up will complete the hand-off.
