Job Description
I am seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Website Admin to manage my business website hosted on GoDaddy (Linux Hosting with cPanel). The site is built in static HTML/CSS (not WordPress). Your role will be to ensure smooth deployment of updates, maintain functionality, troubleshoot issues, and make light code edits as needed.
This is an hourly role. Workload will vary depending on updates, with steady opportunities for ongoing collaboration.
Responsibilities
Deployment: Upload and deploy ZIP packages (HTML, CSS, images, assets) via cPanel or FTP.
Light Coding: Write and edit HTML/CSS (and occasional JavaScript) for small updates, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues (file paths, image/CSS loading, broken links, case sensitivity, etc.).
Security & Optimization: Configure SSL, enforce HTTPS redirects, enable caching, optimize speed, and maintain robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
DNS & Domain Support: Assist with DNS record updates, domain forwarding, and email/domain alignment.
Ongoing Maintenance: Monitor uptime, apply updates, and keep the site running smoothly.
Requirements
Proven experience managing static HTML/CSS sites on GoDaddy (Linux Hosting with cPanel).
Strong HTML/CSS skills; ability to make light JavaScript edits.
Proficiency with cPanel deployments, troubleshooting, and file management.
Understanding of SSL, redirects, caching, and basic security best practices.
Clear communicator who can work independently and reliably.
(Nice to have) Familiarity with Kajabi integration.
