Fix Estatik IDX & Cron & 503 errors
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My WordPress real-estate site runs on the Estatik Pro IDX plugin with a Trestle RETS feed. Everything had been stable until the automated listing import suddenly stopped and the page began throwing 503 errors. No new plugins or updates have been added, so the break appears to be internal to the Estatik/Trestle workflow.
Top priority: get the Estatik cron jobs healthy again. They currently fail or time out, preventing the feed from pulling fresh listings and occasionally knocking the site offline with a 503. Once the cron is running reliably, I need you to confirm the Trestle feed is ingesting, mapping, and publishing new data without duplicates or gaps.
Key details you should know
• WordPress + Estatik Pro + Trestle RETS
• WP-Cron and any server-level crons are available for adjustment
• Site is on a Linux VPS with full SSH, cPanel, and log access
What I expect from you
1. Diagnose the exact cause of the cron failure and 503 spikes.
2. Repair or reconfigure the Estatik scheduled tasks so imports run on time.
3. Test and verify that the Trestle feed pulls the latest listings end-to-end.
4. Provide a brief summary of the fix and any settings or code changes made.
Please bid only if you have hands-on experience troubleshooting Estatik feeds or similar IDX solutions. A quick, surgical resolution is what I’m after, not a site rebuild.
Please send me a few samples of the sites you implemented that are active that have idx and estatik plug in.
