I am looking for an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to help me set up and run a learning program for underprivileged children in less developed countries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure the LMS on Google Classroom
- Establish student accounts for our beneficiaries
- Implement a system for tracking student progress
- Manage and organize the learning modules
- Create and assign text-based lessons, videos, and interactive quizzes
- Maintain discussion forums within the platform
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Provide training and support to teachers and users

Ideal candidate should possess:
- Proven experience with Google Classroom and other LMS platforms
- Proficiency in managing student accounts, tracking progress, and assigning tasks
- Strong organizational skills to effectively structure and plan the learning modules
- Ability to create engaging, interactive content suitable for children
- Strong communication skills to support and train other users of the system
- A passion for education and making a positive impact on underprivileged communities

The program will consist of more than 10 modules or subjects, each containing text-based lessons, videos, and interactive quizzes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring its smooth running and effectiveness.

Also I am a Christian and motivated by Christian love to help the underprivileged of the world and to help young people to have an education through the medium of the internet where freely available resources are available to anyone with an internet connection.

So the focus is on education tracks using freely available internet course material

Critical subjects will be

1. english
2. maths
3 computer programming using various methods eg block coding like scratch, progressing to proper coding.
4. science in physics, chemistry and biology for young children
5. geography for children

i am thinking the age range will initially be aged 8 to 13 although we can expand this in time

i am thinking perhaps of a rewards based system where instead of giving people charity to help pay for food etc we have the child aged 8 to 13 become a wage earner in the home by completing set work and modules.

initially with a trial i will pay for the progress of the children but the goal will be to sell the model and attract sponsorship with individuals, churches, charities, companies and even governments keen to contribute to the learning potential of children in underprivileged nations and societies

i am also thinking of rather than paying the families or children directly we will involve a local church pastor or leader who will proxy handle the money, to help provide accountability and lessen the risk of abuse of the system.

But the overall goal of the system will be

1. free education for children no matter their background in the whole world
2. possibly to reward and motivate the children financially for their progress, so the motivation actually lies with the child to complete the work as fast as possible and to learn ... and this will earn the family money, paid through the local church to provide a layer of accountability.
3. long term goal will be to see if sponsors can be attracted to help pay for and run this program.

initial goal will be to engage with just one child and set up a learning plan for this child on google classroom. to set and track initial goals and track progress over a few weeks. then we can take on a second child, then a third etc as we scale up gradually and gently, learning from our mistakes early on with super low numbers so we can easily pivot and change in the early stages.

your job as administrator will be completely to run the whole system for me so this will involve

i will find and supply the children initially but after that I would like you to help me to
talk to the child
engage with them
discover their existing learning
create a small learning plan for the next 2 months
agree some goals
agree with their parents or carer a £30 reward once they reach their goal for (roughly) one months worth of learning ... we will go easy to start with then balance as we see how much a child can do ... and how well ... and how fast ...,
we should validate the childs learning with some sort of activity, programming output, test etc ... just to validate the learning
we should issue a certificate for a given amount of learning progress

i plan on having some children in mind already so i have in mind that you should be fluent in Urdu and English to help me bridge the language gap

I also would like you to have some sort of Christian faith as this is important work for Jesus to help children in need to come out of poverty.

So to apply please answer the following questions

1. what is your experience in setting up and administering virtual online classroom?
2. what do you think would be a reasonable hourly rate for your work in USD$ given that this is primarily a charity work ... although potential is to expand to commercial learning ... but that will take time ...
3. i want you to answer the question 'who is jesus' ?

thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you

with hours i am really not sure how much work will be involved ... not sure at present ... we will see ... initially we will start small and grow gradually so the emphasis will be on gradual growth using one or two real cases to get going in practice ... and learn from that point as we deal with real children ... at low scale ... and after we learn and get the system going ... we can develop the system ...

For the contest the winner will go to the person who

1. answers the three questions above correctly and well, in a good manner, with clear and structured english - I am looking here to see that you can communicate with me clearly and with excellent standards of english
2. confirm you are fluent in Urdu language and can communicate perfectly in spoken and written form - this will greatly help in bridging the gap in my complete lack of understanding of this language
3. build a sample LMS ? Google classroom or similar ? with 3 sample students age 8 with a learning program for 2 months in
a) english
b) maths
c) super simple block based computer programming eg scratch
4. we should have some method of establishing progress eg child uploads screenshot of work done or the module we are using confirms the child has done the specified learning, so we can track and verify the learning

so we would have some sample data for 3 children and some pretend module completion certificates uploaded to the LMS platform.

The best one and most efficient will win the competition which will be

$200 US dollars as the prize for creating the LMS
ongoing rate for employment to manage the system, around $13 per hour or a rate we agree on, similar to this.

thank you.
