Child & Adolescent Counseling Support
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am setting up a confidential, one-on-one counseling program aimed at children and teens who are struggling with academic stress, shifting family dynamics, and tricky peer relationships. I need an experienced psychosocial support counselor who can meet young clients where they are, build rapport quickly, and guide them through practical coping strategies that genuinely stick.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Individual, 45-60 minute sessions delivered either online (Zoom or similar) or in-person if you are local and available.
• Age-appropriate assessments during the first meeting to shape an individualized care plan.
• A clear session roadmap—frequency, objectives, and measurable outcomes—so parents and I can track each student’s progress.
• Brief written updates after every session highlighting goals covered, homework or reflection tasks assigned, and observations that may require family follow-up.
• A final summary report once the agreed number of sessions is complete, including next-step recommendations.
You are free to integrate CBT techniques, play therapy elements, mindfulness exercises, or any other evidence-based tools you find effective with this age group. What matters most is that sessions remain engaging, culturally sensitive, and solution-focused.
If this sounds like your specialty, please tell me briefly about your related experience with youth counseling, your preferred therapeutic approaches, and your availability to begin. I’m ready to get the first clients scheduled as soon as we find the right fit.
