Realistic Golden Oreo Dog Costume

I want my pup to turn heads this season in a Golden Oreo–inspired costume that looks convincingly real while still being comfortable for everyday wear. Polyester is the only fabric I’ll consider because it holds color well and is easy to wash, so the final piece needs to be cut, sewn, and detailed with that in mind.

The overall look should mimic an actual Golden Oreo cookie: warm biscuit-gold outer “cookies,” a visible cream filling stripe, and crisp edge ridges or stitching that read clearly even from a distance. I’m flexible on the construction approach—full-body suit, cape, or another clever layout—as long as the end result sells the illusion of a life-sized cookie and lets my dog move freely. Feel free to propose which silhouette will best achieve realism without overheating or restricting movement.
