Gold Feather Cosplay Dress & Wings
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m looking for a skilled costume maker to craft a show-stopping gold feather dress with matching wings for an upcoming cosplay event. The overall aesthetic is fantasy—think ethereal, sun-kissed, almost angelic—so shimmering fabrics, layered plumes, and elegant lines are key.
Dress
• short, mid thigh length dress.
• Gold palette—rich metallics or iridescent golds that catch light without looking brassy.
• Comfortable to wear for hours
Wings
• Feather detailing is essential; I want a lush, textured look that photographs well from every angle.
• Lightweight frame that sits comfortably on a harness or backpack rig.
• Wingspan large enough to feel dramatic yet manageable in a crowded hall.
• If you have ideas for subtle articulation or hidden wire shaping to fan the feathers, I’m open to suggestions, but the primary focus is beautiful detailing.
Deliverables
1. Initial concept sketch or digital mock-up for approval.
2. Material list with proposed fabrics, feathers, and hardware.
3. Work-in-progress photos at key milestones.
4. Finished dress and wings, ready to wear, shipped to my location (shipping costs covered separately).
Timeline: I do need this by 15th/16th November at the latest so i appreciate this may be a rush order.
Experience with cosplay builds, theater costuming, or haute couture pieces is a big plus.
