US Energy Tech Deal Facilitator

Job ID: 39931985

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m headquartered in Johannesburg and ready to broaden our product range by bringing a well-known American energy-tech company’s products into African markets. To make that partnership a reality I need focused negotiation support from someone based in the United States who already understands the energy-tech landscape there.

The immediate priority is two-fold: 1) shape a distribution or reseller agreement that protects both sides and satisfies U.S. and South-African regulations, and 2) get decision-makers from the company onto organised calls (or in-person sessions, if required) so momentum never stalls. Experience with cross-border contract drafting, corporate law, and Zoom / DocuSign workflows is expected.

Key deliverables
• A first-pass distribution agreement or term sheet, ready for legal review on both sides.
• At least two meetings fully arranged and facilitated, each with documented minutes and clear next-steps.

Success means we walk away with an agreement that lets us launch the company’s hardware and software in Southern Africa and beyond.

If you already have contacts inside the target firm—or a track record of closing comparable U.S. energy-tech deals—your insight will be invaluable. I’m aiming to schedule the first joint call within three weeks of kickoff and move to a signed document shortly thereafter. Let’s get this deal over the line.
