Responsive Corporate Portfolio Site

I’m putting together a polished online portfolio and need it crafted with vanilla HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The look should be unmistakably corporate—clean lines, professional typography, and a dark-and-bold palette that feels confident on every screen size, from mobile to large desktop.

Core layout
• Home, About, Skills, Projects, and Contact sections laid out in a single-page flow
• Smooth in-page scrolling for menu links
• Subtle fade-in effects as each section enters the viewport

Performance & code quality
Speed matters, so assets must be optimized, CSS and JS kept lean, and images properly compressed. Please write well-structured, commented code that I can extend later; no heavy frameworks, just clean vanilla scripting (ES6+ is fine).

Responsiveness & compatibility
Flexbox/Grid for responsive grids, media queries dialed in for common breakpoints, and testing across modern browsers and touch devices.

Deliverables
1. Complete source files (HTML, CSS, JS, and any assets)
2. A brief README explaining folder structure and how to update content
3. Deployment-ready bundle I can drop onto my hosting

Acceptance criteria
• Layout renders correctly at 360 px, 768 px, and 1440 px widths
• Fade-in animations trigger smoothly without jank
• Google Lighthouse performance score 90+ on mobile
• W3C validator shows no critical errors
