Technical Brief: Rebranding & Site Migration

1. Domain Migration & SEO (Core PHP)
Redirect Logic: Implement server-side 301 Wildcard Redirects from all https://ecater.io/* URLs to the corresponding pages on the new domain. This must be handled at the server or core routing level to preserve SEO.
Rebrand: Perform a site-wide update replacing the "eCater" name with the new brand name. Update the logo, favicon, and all meta tags. (only the backend work)
Environment Setup: Configure the new domain on the server, update environment variables, and ensure proper SSL installation.
2. Frontend Implementation (Vue.js & CSS)
Homepage Replication: Replicate the exact layout and functionality of the homepage built in AI Studio here: https://ai.studio/apps/drive/14b4ZeSRIoemCQQtV2RbAT60J5_8U6yQF
Font Update: Replace the font for the entire website. Ensure the new typography is applied across all Vue components and global stylesheets for consistency.
404 Page Redesign: Create a custom 404 error page/component using the new brand colours and typography.
3. Merchants Page & Filter Refactor
Filter Repositioning: Redesign the Merchants/Search page. Move the filters from the current sidebar position to the top of the page, similar to the layout found here: https://www.ezcater.com/catering/search
Logic: Ensure the Vue.js filtering logic remains responsive and functional in the new top-bar position, including a mobile-friendly toggle.
4. Custom Quote Form
Development: Build a comprehensive Quote Request form.
Requirements: We will provide the specific link/documentation for the form fields and logic.
Data Handling: The developer must ensure the PHP backend correctly processes, stores, and emails these form submissions.
5. Blog System Upgrade & CSS Fixes
Plugin Upgrade: Upgrade the blog plugin to the latest version.
