Revamp UI/UX of Social Media Platform & Apps
Budget: $5,000 – $8,000 USD
I'm in need of a skilled UI/UX designer to breathe new life into my social media platform and its accompanying apps. The current design is outdated and unappealing, which can seriously affect user engagement and retention.
Key Requirements:
- Revamp the visual design: Create a modern, clean, and visually appealing interface that resonates with today's users.
Our social media platform needs a new UI/UX for the desktop version and for our 2 Mobile Apps. The 2 mobile apps are: the main Site App and then a Chat Messenger App. The desktop version UI/UX looks like garbage and is inconsistent throughout the site, so:
1) We need to do a redesign of the UI/UX for the desktop and the Mobile Apps.
2) We need to convert the Mobile Apps from XAMARIN to either Flutter or React Native cross-platform technology so that we can use them in both Android and iOS
We're NOT LOOKING FOR A BIG COMPANY WITH HUNDREDS OF EMPLOYEES. We're looking for a highly experienced INDEPENDENT FREELANCER. I need to keep the costs down and work directly with the same person. After this project is done, we have a lot more work to be done and we'd like to build a long -term relationship with someone we can count on.
These scripts look like they were written 10-15 years ago and are not acceptable. We're looking for a brighter, cleaner and more engaging UI/UX. And I have a very specific inspirational site and app that I want these to look like. I will give you the specific app when we discuss it in Chat. However, I will say that I am inspired by Truth Social, Gettr and Parler look and feel, navigation etc. But, hit me up on chat and I will discuss specifically.
SO HERE IS WHAT WE NEED DONE:
#1 DESKTOP - For the most part the technology works fairly well, with just a few bugs, hence why we only want to redesign the UI/UX.
- I need a quote for creating the new UI/UX based exactly on the app brand I give you when discussing.
- We need to make the site FULLWIDTH. And fully and creatively use the entire space from left to right. It is currently a 3-column layout. We need each page to be full-width, including the left and right sidebars.
- We need to improve the User Profiles. Better Photo Galleries, Better icons. Batch photo uploads.
- We need a better USER DASHBOARD, for them to edit their profile, their photos, make it also FULL-WIDTH. Need to improve the User -Interface of User Dashboard. Better use of space left to right.
- For some reason Photos are not uploading and saving anymore when someone creates a profile or comments on. It appears to be working and it says Photo uploaded successfully, but the photo didn't actually save and doesn't appear.
# 2 - MOBILE APPS
Next, I NEED A QUOTE for converting the Apps from XAMARIN to a React Native or Flutter cross-platform technology.
As I mentioned we have 1 app for the main site itself and then 1 app for Messenger Chat. We have them for Android and for iOS, meaning we have licenses for 4 apps altogether. However, we would like to just have the apps converted from XAMARIN to Flutter or React so that we would only have 2 apps. (Is this right). Again. 1 is the main site app (we have Android and iOS versions) and 1 is for Messenger (iOS and Android). But if we can convert these into cross-platform apps and APK's our hope is that it will be less expensive than having to do 4 apps, it would only be 2 apps?
Our apps are down from Google Play as they were no longer meeting Google Play Store, Safety, Payment and Privacy policy updates, new requirements for EU and some other things that I wasn't able to update quickly enough by deadline. So, in the least of all of this I need an independent freelancer who can update these Google Play Store Requirements and get them back online.
With that being said, I guess the first thing we need to do is get them to be compliant. Next we want to come up with a new User-Interface and pages to match the new Desktop interface and fix some bugs, improve Photo Galleries. So, we need a really good person with layout ideas to make this a very nice app.
The WoWonder site does provide UPDATES and there are updated versions from what we have. So, is it a good idea first to upload their updated version into the APK? and then begin to improve the UI/UX? We need advice as to the cheapest way to do this, the most sensible approach and not waste time and effort duplicating the work.
