Networking email
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a clever writer to help me craft a "cold call" email that I can use to request informational interviews with people. I have recently relocated to Dallas, and I need to rebuild my professional and job hunt. I am looking for something short, clever, and perhaps a little funny (or memorable), essentially something that will grab the reader's attention and prompt them to respond. The ask is straightforward, I am new to the city and would like to learn more about your industry etc... below are the two emails I have been using without any tangible results.

I hope you're having a great week. I'm reaching out to you because of your expertise in the nonprofit space. New to the DFW area, I'm hoping to connect with people who might be willing to chat with me about the public affairs environment in the metroplex and help me navigate my networking and career development opportunities here.
For additional context, I have attached my resume. I have over a decade of government and policy experience in Washington, D.C., and I look forward to translating those skills to the DFW market. I have served in Congress, the Department of Defense, several think tanks, and a traditional lobbying firm.
Thank you in advance for your time! I would love to buy you coffee or lunch or chat via phone if you have any availability in the next few weeks for a Texas transplant looking to plant long-term roots here.

Background and Context:
As you will see from my resume (which is attached), I have over a decade of government and policy experience. I have served in Congress, the Department of Defense, several think tanks, and a traditional lobbying firm.
I relocated to Dallas in late December to help care for a sick family member. My current job (Director of Government Affairs) graciously allowed me to work from Dallas until my family member recovered, which she is well on her way. However, I have fallen in love with Dallas and would prefer to stay and plant roots, so I would like to explore any opportunity that would allow me to stay.
