My Manuscript -- 2

275 pages, one sided, of urban literature. Contains a lot of slang words and nontraditional words. Need typed as it is and placed on a disc that can be opened and edited. I need someone local in the US. As you can imagine I am concerned about this manuscript getting written as soon as possible. I have so much on my plate I can't do it myself. I want the integrity of the manuscript preserved, but at the same time want errors corrected. I know this is hard to do with urban literature. The book contains a lot of slang wording which should stay, but at the same time there will be some grammatical errors that will need to be corrected. I need the book completed by the end of this week (Sept 4, 2021). I am not comfortable committing to an hourly rate because frankly I could never know for sure how many hours it actually took. I feel more comfortable with a set amount, using your best guestimate of how long you realistically think you can complete the document.

My Son is the author of the book. He mailed me the manuscript back in June. I didnt receive it until the end of July. The USPS had lost his manuscript. So it came to me damaged. Some parts are dificult to read due to water and mold damage to the pages. On top of that, when I scanned the document some words got cut off on the pages.
