Harry Potter and the Necronomicon of Blood
Chapter 2: A Cabin in the Woods
The trio, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, found themselves in a remote cabin nestled deep within the Forbidden Forest. The air was thick with an eerie silence, broken only by the occasional snap of a twig or the distant hoot of an owl.
"This place gives me the creeps," Ron muttered, his voice barely audible over the crackling fire.
Hermione adjusted her glasses. "It's probably just the location. The Forbidden Forest is always a bit unsettling."
Harry, however, felt a different kind of unease. He sensed something dark lurking in the shadows, something that went beyond the usual forest spookiness.
As they settled in for the night, a strange, guttural chanting echoed through the woods. It grew louder and more intense, until it seemed to be right outside their door.
With a heavy heart, Harry grabbed his wand and stepped outside. The moon was full, casting long, dancing shadows across the forest floor. In the distance, he saw a flickering light.
As he approached the light, he realized it was coming from a small, dilapidated cabin. The door was slightly ajar, and a faint glow spilled out into the night.
Hesitantly, Harry pushed the door open. The interior of the cabin was a sight to behold. Bookshelves lined the walls, filled with ancient tomes and scrolls. In the center of the room, a large, leather-bound book lay open on a wooden table.
As Harry reached out to touch the book, a chilling voice echoed through the cabin. "You have disturbed my slumber, wizard."
A shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. It was a tall, skeletal creature with glowing red eyes. In its hands, it held a dagger that seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly light.
"Who...who are you?" Harry stammered, his voice trembling.
The creature grinned, revealing rows of sharp, yellow teeth. "I am Kandarian, the demon. And you...you have awakened me."
