PERKS of the Job

- Part of this job involves getting paid to mindlessly scroll through Social Media! Yes, it’s true!
- Part of this job involves watching movies and television. Yes, for real!

Stuff to NOTE before Applying

- I have hired many people over the years.
- I give clear instructions, but I expect a LOT of those who work for me. Those who don’t pull their weight will be let go quickly. If you want to keep this job, know you’ll have to prove yourself an asset quickly.
- Treat this like a job. Clock in, clock out, check in with me, etc. I’m not a monster – if you are sick, if you have a conflict, I understand you may be late, but you must communicate this to me, just as you would any boss in an office. Flat out not showing up without letting me know will result in termination of our contract.
- Treat. This. Like. A. Job. While you can miss days for emergencies and conflicts that arise, be aware that just like with any job, if every day has some kind of emergency, this job won’t work out and I will terminate our contract.
- TREAT THIS LIKE A JOB! Respect my time and I will respect yours.
- If this job works out – and I mean REALLY works out – you may be asked to read several books. I will pay you for your time to do this, but please be aware.

THE PLAN

- I plan to hire several VAs full time
- I plan to let you all work with me anywhere from a few days to a week.
- Not all of you will make the cut. You’ll be paid for the work you do, but those who excel with this position will be kept on full time.

HOW TO APPLY

- List all of the things above that you bring to the table, as well as your experience with them. If you have graphic design experience, attach your work. If you have blog writing experience, attach your work, etc.
- Confirm your availability to the time I noted.
- Confirm you understand that we will be starting on a trial basis that could possibly last from 1-5 days (but no longer than that) at which point our contract may end, and that you are okay with this agreement.
- Confirm your best price per hour and that you are okay working an hourly contract.
- If you applied, then you’re awesome and know how to do lots of things! That’s great! But explain to me a bit why you’re available or between jobs. Basically, if you’re so great, why haven’t you been snatched up?

The above responses will allow me to see how well you follow detail and how organized you are.
