Freelancers to write 25-page stories
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Hello! We are in need of the services of 2 or 3 freelances to write short stories for us. The stories should be 25 pages long, and they are needed as soon as possible. These stories must be of the highest quality possible, with entertaining content and we will not accept any fillers or fluff in them.
Although we have possible concepts, we are trying to find writers who may have their own creative ideas about books, so we would like to talk with these excellent people to see if their plots are better than we have currently decided on. If that’s the case, the writers we hire would have complete freedom on the choice of their 25-page reports. The genre is not important if the quality is great and the story complies with the requests stated herein!
Having said that, our requests as follows cannot change:
The writer has to be from an English Speaking country and your vocabulary, grammar, syntax, etc. must be impeccable.
We would need these done sooner than later so please let us know how soon you can start if hired, and how long will it take you to complete the work. If the writing is excellent, we would hire you for a year or longer.
It is imperative that the stories are original and come from the writers’ mind and that they are unique and nothing can be plagiarized or stolen from anywhere else. We will check to make sure that this is so. Anything else will not be accepted. An agreement stating this will be required to be signed and notarized.
The story has to be 25 pages of content so the finished product must be presented in a Word document, written in Times New Roman or Ariel, the font size should be 10 and the margins all around no more than half an inch (1/2”). No double spacing either.
Our budget is $150 per story and we will probably need 10 in the immediate future if the quality of the work is excellent. Or more. Let us know if you would be available for this possibility.
If we increase the contract to more than one story, then we would require the work to be a “mini-series” with regular characters, and new ones added on or killed off as the story progresses. They should all have a cliffhanger at the end, which is solved in the next story.
A 10-sentence synopsis describing the story should be added at the beginning.
Once the story is paid for, we will own the rights to it, the byline, resale and ownership rights, copyrights and everything connected to the story. We will require you sign a contract agreeing to this.
