I have a series of long-form articles—each running 1,500 words or more—that I need translated from English into Bahasa Melayu. These are fully written pieces; what I’m after is a faithful, natural-sounding Malay version that reads as if it were drafted locally, not machine-converted.
The subject matter ranges from business and lifestyle to light tech, so you should be comfortable adapting tone and terminology without losing meaning. Whenever the English draft feels clunky, feel free to smooth it out; accuracy is essential, but flow for the Malay reader is just as important.
Deliverables I expect for every article:
• A clean Malay document in Word or Google Docs, mirroring the original headings, sub-heads, links, and formatting
• Light copy-editing as you translate—grammar or clarity issues should be fixed, not copied over
• On-time delivery (the first batch is three articles; more batches will follow if we work well together)
