One of the oldest and most beautiful towers in Istanbul. Its construction dates back to the Middle Ages and is located in the Galata region in Istanbul, Turkey, north of the Golden Horn. It is a high cylinder-shaped building with a conical roof that dominates the skyline and provides a panoramic view of the historic Istanbul peninsula and its suburbs. It is often confused with the ancient Tower of Galata, which was a Byzantine tower, called the Great Tower.
