Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I publish a fast-moving travel newsletter and need an extra pair of hands right away. Each week I’ll hand you a loose editorial calendar; you’ll take it from idea to send-ready email—about fifteen editions over seven days, each one a tight 15–30-minute assignment.
The editorial mix is simple: practical tips and hacks every traveller can use, plus fresh guides, events and news centred on two or three spotlight destinations we rotate weekly. You’ll hunt down the story angles, source eye-catching royalty-free images for thumbnails, pull together quality links for further reading, and weave everything into a punchy, mobile-friendly email.
While writing, you’ll flag clear placeholders for our sales team so they can drop in native ads and banner placements without breaking the flow. Speed matters (we’re on an ASAP schedule), but accuracy, tone and creativity are just as important.
Acceptance criteria / weekly deliverables:
• 15 fully written HTML-ready emails with subject lines and pre-headers
• 1 optimised thumbnail image per email, licence-cleared and credited (pexels, you need to source each image)
• Minimum one to two outbound links that add genuine value to the reader
• Call-outs for ad spots indicated in context
- Are responsible for determining the topics and themes of the emails
When you respond, share links to past work that shows your voice, research ability and email layout skills. I’ll review samples and move quickly so we can start this week.
