Chicago Style Copy Editing for Scholarly Book
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I'm in the process of completing a scholarly book titled "Magic Lantern Art: The First Great Narrative Artist of the American Screen, Joseph Boggs Beale." I am seeking a highly skilled copy editor with extensive experience in the Chicago format to assist me. The book is approximately 115,000 words long and includes 400 color pictures, 400 notes, a bibliography, and an index. A publisher is already lined up.
The book is written in a first-person, informal style, which requires a moderate flexibility with the strict adherence to the Chicago style. The first chapter, about 7,500 words long, is ready for review.
Key Responsibilities:
