Compensation and proof:
We will pay 5 US dollars for each illegal recording (for example, a full or substantial bootleg of a Broadway production disguised as a “slime tutorial”) that you successfully get removed from YouTube and that we verify as removed for copyright reasons. Payment will be issued after we confirm the removal and receipt of a takedown reference and proof. Acceptable proof is a screenshot of the video page showing “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim” or the YouTube takedown reference number and the takedown submission record. We will provide a signed letter of authorization from The Broadway League to the contractor who is awarded the work so that legitimate takedown requests are supported by proper authorization.

Payments will be aggregated and paid weekly through Freelancer according to the freelancer platform’s terms. We will not pay for removals that predated your submission or for removals that resulted from unrelated content ID matches unless you can show your notice directly produced the removal.
How we will select and start someone:
We will review applicants who follow the instructions above, confirm the credentials and sample notice, and then provide the winner with the signed authorization letter and a short onboarding note about priorities and tracking. We expect contractors to act professionally and to escalate repeat uploaders or networks of infringers to our legal team as patterns emerge.
