Someone who has a very good understanding of copyright laws, specifically in Youtube content

I received a copyright strike on YouTube, it was a video that was 1 hour and 20 minutes, and was a custom made documentary about the career of a footballer. The video included roughly 1 minutes worth of footage from a movie, and the movie company took it down. I asked them to remove the strike, and in return I would trim out the segment from the video, a fortnight later, I'm yet to receive a response
