Library data entry and data management
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for a reliable data-entry specialist to refresh the book records in our library database. The job is straightforward: work through my existing catalog and update each record so that titles, authors, publication details, and classification fields all match the latest information I provide.
Here’s how the process will flow:
• I’ll give you an export of our current book list in Excel (or CSV if you prefer) along with a folder of verified source details.
• You’ll replace outdated entries, fill in any clearly marked blanks, and ensure the final sheet is consistent in spelling, capitalization, and format.
• Once finished, send back the clean file plus a short change log noting anything that looked unusual or required clarification.
Accuracy and a methodical approach are more important than speed, and familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets will make the work go faster.
